What I've learned so far about being a mommy/ about Lucas

* I never knew how much I can love a little person

* I never knew that changing a newborns diapers would be such an experience. (I've changed tons of diapers before but a newborn is a little different)
1. A boy is not easy to change. His pee goes EVERYWHERE
2. I never knew that poop can fly out of his butt the way it does haha
3. He farts more than I every knew was humanly possible (I think he takes after daddy haha)

* I think everything Lucas does is adorable. Every noise, every face he makes. It makes me smile all day long.

* One day he was hungry and really upset that his bottle wasn't ready that exact second so he was crying and there were real little tears in his eyes. It made me almost cry.

* Lucas LOVES to be held. He will be sound asleep in my arms but if I try to put him down, within 5 minutes he's awake and crying. He just likes to cuddle like his mommy.

* He also loves his pacifier. I don't know what we'd do without it.

* We had to wait 3 long weeks before his umbilical cord stump fell off to give him a real bath, and it came at the perfect time. He was sooo cranky the night we planned on giving him his first bath, and the second he was in the water, he instantly calmed down.

* Sound machines are great. Lucas loves the ocean and rain sounds.

* I have the cutest, most wonderful son in the world and I love him to pieces.

My baby boy was born!

Lucas Joseph Agostini was born on December 22, 2009 at 7:57 pm weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. I was in labor for about 12 hours, pushed for about 5 minutes and he was out and so perfect

We left the hospital on christmas eve

I am so in love with him!

At 4 days old I took him to get professional pictures done, they came out amazing!
